The beautiful landscape south of Brilon and the Bruchhauser Steine are definitely worth a day trip! At first, the route is relaxed on tarred and gravel paths to the Hiebammen Hütte. But it's still too early to stop for refreshments. So first up the Borberg to the Borberg churchyard. The remains of a rampart dating back to the 9th century will delight all fans of German history. The view of Olsberg and the Ruhrtal valley is delightful.
The following singletrail descent towards Elleringhausen provides flow. The route leads back past the Feuereiche oak tree to the Hiebammen Hütte, which you should now use for a refreshment stop.
