Starting from the center of Anröchte, where interesting green sandstone sculptures can be seen, the route heads north-west to Klieve. Here you are greeted by an obelisk made of Anröchte green sandstone. Next to this work of art by Jo Kley is a viewing platform from which you have a good view over the Soest Börde and an impressive view of some Anröchte quarries. At the end of the village, you will come across the Klieve Mill, a historic building surrounded by a small park. The green sandstone peaks arranged there form the "Orion constellation". The "Ravens of Klieve" guard the works of art... Continue west to Schmerlecke, past the Schmerlecker windmill and then south towards Altengeseke. The Wiemecke valley, which is predominantly used for agriculture, is characteristic. The tour then leads to the village of Altenmellrich, which has already won several top places in the "Our village should become more beautiful / Our village has a future" competition. The route now takes a sporty route via Zur Haar past the village of Waldhausen to Belecke. From there, the circular route leads back over the Haar towards Effeln.
Just before the village, you will come to the "Zur Haar" adventure point. In good weather, you can enjoy breathtaking views as far as the Beckum mountains, the foothills of the Teutoburg Forest. From there, you "roll" all the way to the village of Eff eln. The last stage leads through the Pöppelschetal valley, where the large population of rare animals and plants offers a special natural spectacle. After a final small climb, the tour ends in Anröchte, where the restaurants invite you to take a break.
