From the Haus des Gastes in Heringhausen you can start your tour around the lake. As a special highlight of the tour, the dam wall at Helminghausen offers you an excellent panoramic view over the winding lake. Refreshment stops along the route invite you to linger and round off the pleasure.
A visit to the Visionarium experience exhibition is recommended. "See, touch and experience nature interactively" - this is how ecological relationships are playfully related to the nature park landscape. You will learn more about the mighty dam wall or about the life of the people living at the dam.

There are no train stations along the route. A limited journey is possible via bus transport. The nearest train station to the starting point is Willingen.
