The cycle route forms the shape of a triangle and can be ridden as a "round trip" or in individual stretches from spa to spa. Idyllic villages, interesting country inns, but above all the spas themselves along the way, with their parks, salt works, thermal brine baths, bathing and spa facilities, as well as the gastronomic establishments, invite you to take a break and linger along the tour. The Hellweg Radio Baths Route is signposted on both sides by the logo above, so that it can be followed in different directions.

Route: 1. Bad Sassendorf - Bad Westernkotten (18.2 km) - The route begins in the center of Bad Sassendorf. From here it turns east parallel to the Hellweg via Bad Sassendorf, Lohne and Schallern to Schmerlecke. The route continues via Völlinghausen and Erwitte to Bad Westernkotten. / 2. Bad Westernkotten - Bad Waldliesborn (10.9km) - Heading north, this short section leads to the town of Lippstadt. After crossing the Lippe and the Boker Canal, an old drainage canal in the former swamp and moorland area of Lipperbruch, you finally reach Bad Waldliesborn. / 3. Bad Waldliesborn - Bad Sassendorf (25.4km) - From Bad Waldliesborn you now head southwest back to the starting point of Bad Sassendorf. Parallel to the Glenne, a tributary of the Lippe and the Boker Canal, you reach Lippstadt - Cappel, a suburb of Lippstadt with a rather village character. The route then leads through Hellinghausen and Benninghausen south through Lohe, Wiggeringhausen and Merklinghausen to Schallern and then back to the spa town of Bad Sassendorf.

On the way there are many sights to discover, e.g. the chapels in Schallern, Merklinghausen and Lohe, the church St. Martin in Benninghausen, the Stiftskirche in Cappel, the town hall and the Marienkirche in Lippstadt, the castle Erwitte, the St. Laurentiuskirche and the market place in Erwitte, the church St. Stephanus in Völlinghausen, the windmill and the chapel St. Antonius in Schmerlecke.

With its few climbs, the Hellweg Radio Baths Route is an easy, family-friendly route.
