Starting in Körbecke, the main town in the municipality of Möhnesee, we follow the 40 km tour around the Westfalen lake. During our excursion, fourteen illustrated stations remind us of the history of NRW's largest reservoir.

Pleasure boating in the 1920s, the Drüggelte post station and the railroad station in Wamel: we follow the traces of the past everywhere we go.

The descriptive information boards allow you to immerse yourself in what happened - from the construction of the imposing dam to its destruction and the recreational paradise.

The 40 km route also offers wonderful views of the lake and its shores.
