The start of this tour is at the tourist information in Winterberg. First, this circular tour takes you on the R 18 cycle path around the Kahler Asten to Westfeld.
From there you follow the Lenne towards its source on the Lenneradweg and can enjoy the low mountain idyll along the course of the stream.
Arriving at the height near Lenneplätze, you will be offered a magnificent panoramic view before you cycle a section on the popular Rothaarsteig long-distance hiking trail in the direction of Hoheleye. After briefly touching the B 236, you continue on the A3 with a view of the Lenne.
After turning left twice, you will reach Hoheleye. Via Neuastenberg you return along the R47 back to Winterberg.

Public transiot
You can reach Winterberg quickly and comfortably by interregional transport. From Hagen, for example, there are connections every hour, from Kassel every 2 hours. From Dortmund to Winterberg and vice versa you travel in only 104 minutes. After all, six times per weekday or twelve times on Saturday or Sunday. Information on the door-to-door baggage service of the railroad is available at all DB sales offices.
