Duck coop Alme
The water of the Alme emerges from 104 springs here and offers visitors to this unique place a sight that is as fascinating as it is meditative. The spring pond of the Alme is one of the selected spiritual and powerful places within the project "sauerland.inspiration". Visitors are offered a variety of experiences of silence and tranquility in the open countryside.
The circular trail runs for about 1800 m and has been developed close to nature and with few barriers.
The circular route starts at the Alme duck barn (Untere Bahnhofstraße). On a level path it goes about 500 m to the former factory premises. After the factory building, turn left and walk up a slightly ascending ramp to the upper ditch of the Alme (approx. 100 m). After about 250 m you reach the Alme spring pond along the upper ditch. At the information boards (100m) turn right and go straight on towards the church (600 m). After passing the cemetery and the pit house, turn right again in front of the church and return to the Alme duck barn (250m).
