**Due to bridge construction work between Dotzlar and Meckhausen, the Fluss-Felsen-Aussichten cycle path will be shortened by approx. 5.5 km and rerouted via the Eder cycle path. The detour is signposted **.

From October to April, the wooden bridge at Stedenhof, Arfeld, is not available, so use the main road!
Ambitious cyclists can combine this route with the other two tour tips. The motto of all three routes is 'High times to the right and left of the Eder cycle path - become one with the landscape and nature.

This themed section of the Eder Cycle Path guarantees sweeping views of beautiful landscapes. Get on your bike and set off on a tour through the lower Edertal.
In addition to the outstanding vegetation, there is much more to see here: You can forge an iron yourself at the Blacksmith Museum in Arfeld, the Alexander Mack Museum in Schwarzenauer Hüttental tells the impressive story of a religious founder and, to top it all off, you will pass the beautiful manor house in Schwarzenau. You can enjoy the landscape to the full between the stops.
Every meter of elevation gain is worth it for the impressive panorama that this tour promises. The 30-kilometre route has a wonderful loop character that offers you individual entry and exit options. The difficulty and length of the tour can be varied.
The starting point for this cycle tour is the "Reisegarten" parking lot in Raumland: downstream, this is a good place to get rolling. The route leads straight along the Eder to Arfeld. Once you arrive in the village, it's worth making a first stop. Here, the "Open Cycle Path Church" invites you to enjoy a moment of peace and contemplation. The Arfeld smithy is also worth a visit due to its interesting history.The route is initially slightly uphill with a short steep section that takes you into the historic Obere Hüttental valley in Schwarzenau. You will be rewarded for your efforts with wonderful views. During a visit to the Alexander Mack Museum , you will learn about the history of the Pietists in Wittgenstein.The route continues downhill towards Schwarzenau, past the Via Adrina eye stone to the village center. The manor house right next to the Eder bridge is the focal point here.The path leads back towards Arfeld. There, the Via Adrina center with its railroad café and a Öffentliche Toilette invites you to take a break.You climb the next mountain between Arfeld and Dotzlar. However, the sweat-inducing effort is rewarded by the viewing platform on the Hainbach above Arfeld.The route continues along a panoramic route to Dotzlar, then along the Eder. From there, you cycle back along the Eder cycle path to the slate village of Raumland.

From Bad Berleburg take the B480 towards Erndtebrück. After crossing the Eder bridge in Raumland/Markhausen, turn left towards Frankenberg onto the L553. At the entrance to Raumland, turn left and then immediately right into "Raumländer Straße". Follow the road until you reach the Eder bridge. Turn left over the Eder bridge. The parking lot is on the left-hand side.
