The tour starts at the NASS leisure pool in Arnsberg-Hüsten. The route first goes uphill through the Arnsberg Forest Nature Park towards the Mittelberg crossing and on to the Heve basin at Möhnesee. The Hevesee-Hevesee nature reserve is one of the most important resting and wintering waters for many species of waterfowl.

Here you can either continue towards the dam wall or to the southern shore of the Möhnesee.

Starting at the Möhnesee gatehouse, you have the option of taking a detour to the Möhnesee tower on the Rennweg. If you climb the 200 steps, you will be a little closer to heaven at a height of 40 m.

The route leads along the MöhnetalRadweg via Delecke to the imposing dam wall. From there, continue in the direction of Niederense and via Moosfelde to the Möhnepforte in Arnsberg-Neheim. From there, the route follows the RuhrtalRadweg along Mendener Straße to Neheim-Hüsten station and finally to the starting point, the NASS leisure pool.
