From Bremke, you cycle along the Wenne on the old railroad line to Wennemen on the Ruhr. You follow the Ruhr upstream to Meschede, the district town of the Hochsauerland district. After a short climb, you cycle along the banks of the Hennen reservoir. The lake's various bathing spots invite you to take a refreshing dip on warm summer days. A short detour to Erflinghausen and you are already cycling towards the starting point in Bremke.

Bremke can be reached by bus from Schmallenberg with lines S90 and 367 (change in Bad Fredeburg) and directly with line 369. In Bremke please use the bus stop "Kirche". All vacation guests in the region can use the buses free of charge with the SauerlandCard.You can find detailed timetable information at www.rlg-online.de

Getting there

by bike:follow the route of the SauerlandRadring to the junction between Bremke and Sallinghausenby car:You can join the Nordschleife at various points (including the Wennemen, Berge and Wenholthausen cycle ring parking lots). From Schmallenberg, you can reach the starting point in Bremke via the B 511. In Bremke, turn left at the main intersection in the direction of Eslohe (on the B 55). The SauerlandRadring runs to the right as you leave the town.

Parking

In Bremke, please use the parking lot at the Raiffeisenmarkt. In the towns of Wenholthausen, Berge and Wennemen, extra parking spaces are available for users of the cycle ring.
