Sorpesee and Wildewiese

After starting in Langscheid, this tour initially leads flat for a few kilometers along the eastern shore of the Sorpesee. On the way there is a lot to see. It begins with the beautifully landscaped Langscheid lakeside promenade, followed by the Swedish and tree houses and the lido.

In Amecke, the Airlebnisweg, a near-natural and interactive adventure trail around the pre-basin, invites you to make a stop.

The tour continues past Haus Amecke, through the middle of a golf course and through the village of Allendorf with its historic center.

From Hagen, the route climbs steadily uphill to Wildewiese, where the Schomberg tower offers a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape. The meters of altitude that have been climbed can now be enjoyed as you ride downhill. From Hagen to Amecke the way back is identical to the way there. Then you turn onto the traffic-free west bank rim trail of the Sorpesee and after a few flat kilometers you reach the starting point of the tour again at the dam of the reservoir.
