Junction 93, Bad Sassendorf
Between the hills of the Sauerland and the Münsterland parkland lies a region that is well worth discovering: whether Hellwegbörde or Lippetal, the largely flat yet varied, attractive landscape offers ideal conditions for relaxed cycling.
Along the historic Hellweg trade route, cyclists can explore the fertile Bördeland landscape with its farms and old villages, cycle through colorful meadows and floodplains, follow idyllic river courses and discover not only the wonderful nature but also enchanted castles, imposing church buildings, old alleys and historic half-timbered houses in typical Westphalian style.
In many places, cozy cafés, old rustic inns and lovingly decorated guest rooms in old farmhouses invite you to linger.
