"TrioVelo" connects the town of Soest with the municipalities of Bad Sassendorf and Möhnesee over a distance of around 45 km.

From Möhnesee, the route first heads uphill towards Soest. The entire historic town center of the bike-friendly old Hanseatic town can be "experienced" in the truest sense of the word. The route leads past numerous architectural monuments made of the world's only green sandstone and pretty half-timbered houses, past the Osthofentor gate and the medieval town wall towards the town park. The route continues eastwards to Bad Sassendorf. In the idyllic spa town, the town center, the "Westfalen Salzwelten" adventure museum, the Börde Therme thermal baths and the spa park with the new adventure Gradierwerk invite you to linger. From there, the route heads south along the Haarstrang into the Möhnetal. This picturesque section of the route offers sweeping views as far as the mountain ranges of the Arnsberg Forest. The route also runs for several kilometers directly along the northern shore of the popular reservoir, which has repeatedly been voted NRW's favourite lake in recent years. Cyclists will find a variety of places to stop for refreshments along the way.

The tour can also be started in the opposite direction or from Soest or Bad Sassendorf.
