This circular tour in the north-east of Willingen shows the beauty of the Willingen (Upland) and runs along parts of the Aarbach stream.

From the visitor center, the tour leads to Usseln, then along the Diemelradweg via Hemmighausen, through the idyllic Aartal Schwalefeld and back to Willingen.
The route starts in Willingen at the visitor center and initially runs along the R5 long-distance cycle path through the Stryck valley towards Usseln. In Usseln, the Upland farmer's dairy with its dairy cow museum invites you to stop. Leave the R5, turn left onto Sportstraße and follow the Diemelradweg. You cycle through the beautiful Diemel river valley.In Hemmighausen, you leave the Diemelradweg and follow the Upland cycle path to Rattlar.Cycle in a small arc down into the picturesque Aarbach valley. Always along the Aarbach, you cross Schwalefeld and finally reach the B251 again, where you follow the R5 back to Willingen.
Bus/train to Willingen train station, continue by shared cab (AST) to the visitor center stop or 10 minutes on foot to the starting point at the visitor center
