Werler Kleeblatt - four cycle tours

The "Werler Kleeblatt" tells the story of the beautiful Hellwegbörde: On the four themed circular routes through the Werl urban area, you will come across lots of interesting facts about culture, nature and agriculture.

The 4 themed routes each have their own name and are marked with different colors.

• Tour A (green): "Windmill tour" The landscape is characterized by old and new windmills.
• Tour B (black): "Salt in Werl" On the trail of Werl's salt history.
• Tour C (blue): "Battle of Birkenbaum" Legendary battle on the city limits of Unna.
• Tour D (orange): "Wide view and sauerkraut" Wide view from the Zur Haar, then downhill to the sauerkraut village of Westönnen.

The tours in the "Werl Kleebatt" are between 17 and 22 km long and suitable for participants of all ages, especially families with children. All tours start and end at Werl's leisure pool. To the south of the building, at the barrier to the sports park, there is a large start board with information.
Please note: Following the consecutive numbering in the route map, all four tours in the "Werler Kleeblatt" are only signposted and accessible in one direction.
Every year, guided tours also take place under the motto "Summer tours in the Werler Kleeblatt", during which additional explanations are given by expert guides about special features along the way. The tours last approx. 3 hours.
