The beautiful 40 km long round trip leads from Willingen to the Diemelsee, a reservoir with a dam wall of 200 m length, which is crossed on this route. Enjoy the beautiful landscape experience along the Diemelsee and the river Diemel.
From the visitor center goes to the center of Willingen. There we turn off onto Schwalefelder Straße in the direction of Diemelsee. We follow this road to the barrier wall of the Diemelsee and ride from there on the Diemelradweg (recognizable by the ammonite signpost) to Usseln. The Diemelradweg always leads along the river through the beautiful Diemeltal.
