The route takes you from the tourist information office in Winterberg on the R47 cycle path along the B 236 in the direction of Kahler Asten. A detour to the Kahler Asten tower is highly recommended. To continue the tour, however, go back to the junction. At the Helleplatz parking lot, turn left onto the W3 and ride briskly downhill through beautiful forest until you reach picturesque Züschen, where you meet the Nuhnetalradweg. The tour continues downhill until shortly before Hallenberg.

Here you turn left and take a crisp climb towards Hesborn along the H2, R49 and W3 bike paths. You pass the hiking parking lot Hohe Schlade and ride below the Bollerbergturm now steadily ascending on forest paths (Hesborner Weg W2) back to Winterberg. In between you can enjoy fantastic views.

Before you arrive back in Winterberg, you have a fantastic panoramic view over Winterberg and the surrounding mountains at the radio tower, at Kreuzberg.
