After starting in Schmallenberg, the village tour on the Philosopher's Path leads directly past the former cutlery factory in Fleckenberg.

After passing through the town, the Lenne accompanies us a little way to the village of the same name. We cycle through the enchanting Uentroptal valley to above Fleckenberg. Here you should enjoy the fantastic view. After a few flat kilometers, Grafschaft awaits us with its monastery, which is well worth seeing. After Almert, there are a few meters of altitude to overcome, but after Oberkirchen it is also downhill again. Continue along the Lenne valley to Gleidorf and turn off here to Holthausen, another half-timbered village. A cycle path accompanies us to Bad Fredeburg, where we turn onto the SauerlandRadring. We follow this downhill to the starting point of the tour.
