Medebach
The tour starts in Medebach. As with the Medebach circuit, we reach the L858 and turn right. We continue in the direction of Berge. In the center of the village, we follow the M6 to Dreislar. Barite used to be mined here. The barite museum offers visitors a journey of discovery to the fascinating crystals from the underworld. Sounds, images, colors and lights make it possible to immerse yourself in mining and rock science.
The tour now leads through the beautiful Orketal valley. Leave the M6 briefly in Medelon and follow the L617 to the Orketal parking lot. Follow the forest path back onto the M6. The route leads through the "Vildische Grund" to the Winterberg district of Elkeringhausen.
Shortly before Küstelberg, we reach the source of the Orke. We stay on the M6 until after Oberschledorn, but do not branch off in the direction of the Aartal, but stay on the L854 for a short while. Then turn right onto the M4 and return to the starting point in Medebach.
